Grant Guidelines & Criteria
Prime Business Grant maintains transparent applicant standards so every citizen, sole proprietor, entrepreneur, and community enterprise operator understands eligibility, required documentation, and the review timeline before submitting a grant application.
1. Who can apply
- United States citizens or lawful permanent residents aged 18 or older.
- Sole proprietors, small business owners, and registered community enterprises operating in one of the 50 supported states.
- Individuals or organizations without an active federal grant fraud finding on record.
- One active application per applicant record at any given time.
2. Eligibility requirements
- Verifiable full legal name, email address, and phone number.
- Current U.S. residential or business address within a supported state.
- Truthful applicant type declaration (individual / citizen or business / enterprise).
- Clear description of intended use of funds when the purpose field is completed.
- Digital signature affirming the accuracy of every field submitted.
3. Assessment tiers & processing fees
PBG offers 12 fixed assessment tiers, from Tier 1 ($200,000) up to Tier 12 ($2,000,000). Each tier carries a fixed processing fee that covers verified identity checks, encrypted account setup, tiered review workload, and payout preparation. Fees are disclosed in full inside the application form before submission.
4. Review timeline
- Intake acknowledgement: immediately after submission (tier-scoped tracking number issued).
- Initial review: 3–5 business days for eligibility and documentation validation.
- Tier assessment: 5–10 business days for funding tier confirmation and processing-fee reconciliation.
- Final approval & notification: issued through the applicant's chosen notification channel (email, SMS, or both).
- Payout preparation: 7–14 business days by PBG Grant Card or Certified Bank Check (USPS Priority).
5. Applicant conduct
- Applicants must respond to verification requests within 14 calendar days.
- Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information voids the grant application and may be reported to relevant authorities.
- Tracking numbers are confidential to the applicant and PBG applicant services.
6. Non-discrimination
PBG evaluates every application on the standardized tiered assessment framework regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or age.
